We encourage all our visitors that will jump in the water to protect the reef by using reef-safe sunscreen and avoiding touching or damaging coral. Roatan’s reef is for all of us to enjoy, that includes future generations. For those that will remain in land, they can protect the reef by using Eco-friendly products, avoiding single use plastics, and skipping on products made from marine life such as shark teeth, coral, conch shells, etc.
All guests must be able to get in and out of the vehicle and a small boat. Children ages 3 and under are free. This tour can accommodate collapsible wheelchairs.
All our tours are designed to be flexible and match your schedule. Our guide will return you and your loved ones 2 hours before the ship sets sail.

ATVing is one of the few things you can do in rain and still have fun. Whatever the weather, the beautiful trails give you a unique experience while navigating through forests, hills and valleys.
First, we pick you up at port exit gate. Meeting time is 1 hour after cruise docking time(If you booked a private excursion, you can disembark earlier or later. We are there as soon as you ship docks). You will head to the Exit Gate and look for the Mahogany Tours sign.
If you choose to add Island Tour to your activity, our next stop is The View artisanal market, here you will have the chance to take photos with a magnificent panoramic view as your backdrop. You will also get some time to browse at the different local souvenir stands.
Soon after, we are headed to – The Chocolate Factory-, where you will receive free samples of the several artisanal chocolate flavors. Then we are headed to West End village, Roatan’s busiest avenue. Get ready to be blown away by the ocean view at – Rum Company-. Here you will find over 50 different flavors as well as many rum cake options.
If you choose the Zipline Adventure option, this is where we are headed now. You will zipline over a lush jungle full of flora, fauna and spectacular views. This zipline features 12 zips (including a 509 feet zipline across a scenic valley and suspension bridges.
Now get ready for some extra adrenaline rush. Get geared up and ride an ATV through Roatan’s jungle. No ATV experience? No problem. All our ATV’s are automatic transmission and we offer some training before we head out.
Should you choose a Sloth Park Add-on, you will have to get your cameras ready for the highlight of the trip, HOLDING A SLOTH. Here, you will have the chance to hold a sloth while monkeys play around you. Birds like macaws and parrots will fly to you to get pampered. Learn about the “island rabbit” and other Roatan endemic species.
If you choose the Beach Break option, get ready for a relaxing time at West Bay Beach, one of the Caribbean’s top ten beaches, where your feet are going to get soothed by white sand beach and turquoise water.
After all the fun, we head back to the ship. We guarantee to have you there with at least 2 hours before ship departure. Mahogany Tours’ staff’s main goal is to do their best to guarantee your satisfaction.
Because of Covid we started offering our customers the option of making their excursion a private one for $10 US extra PP. This means you won’t be sharing a ride with another group. Our customers love this because they enjoy the excursion at their own pace and don’t feel rushed. You will see this add-on option once you start the booking process.
